As I mentioned in a few posts earlier this month, members of my staff and I recently collaborated with Ty McBride, of TMI in NYC, on several creative look book and fashion marketing based projects. McBride, a long time client and friend of the Salon flew out with his team and we got to work for three long days together here in the Treasure Valley. The images are rolling in—the hair is amazing, the make-up is flawless, the shoes are to die for—and you may even recognize some of the models!
For the Jeffrey Campbell campaign, images seen below, we staged and worked out of the Salon as Ty and his team shot on a myriad of locations around town—the theme SMALL TOWN HERO. You can see the entire lookbook on www.jeffreycampbellshoes.com. What a great and fun experience, and so great to make so many new friends and contacts on this project. Such an amazing group of people, so much work, dedication and inspiration. I was honreed to be in on this and cannot wait until next year. Just a few candid shots from the event.

Autumn has arrived, and before the rush of December hits we like to take one night to recognize our loyal clients, fans and patrons who keep the Salon thriving and bursting with life. This annual event also gives me the opportunity to celebrate my staff and all they bring to the table–I am so blessed to work with the most talented and loyal team around. Alongside me team, we realize we don’t get enough opportunity to recognize you, the client–but annually we set this night aside to thank our devoted regulars–and roll out the red carpet to the holiday season–kicking it off with friends and loved ones in style!

I recently partnered with www.solestruck.com for the production of their spring lookbook as well. Members of my staff where on hand for make-up and assisting with the hair. The TMI team was out from NYC as we shot over 30+ looks on location in rural Vale Oregon. The home of Steve Recla served as the perfect back drop for a look inspired by urban 20 somethings taking a weekend at the summerhouse……stay tuned as we get the images loaded and edited. A giant thanks to the entire crew and the new friends I made on this project. AMAZING times.

Worked all weekend with the crew from NYC and an amazing crop of models from Vale to Boise. We busted out THREE lookbooks, had some late nights, some early call times, some bottles of wine and some amazing shoots! Stay tuned as i get pics up….this is just a candid in the salon of model Brenna, as we prepped her to go on location for shooting.
